More REALLY important stuff…

What to do on a rainy Saturday when one should be doing taxes, pay bills, wash dishes, and all that other stuff? Tackle a pinterest project – what else? This one is of uttermost importance. I’ve been saving toilet-paper rolls for a while now. Here it is:

VERY SIMPLE TO DO:

– CUT A SLIT INTO TP ROLLS
– PAINT THEM
– LET DRY
– USE

BEFORE – MESSY AND NOT AT ALL ORGANIZED:

AFTER – NEAT AND NICE:

NOTES / LESSONS LEARNED:

– You have to be either really bored or really trying to procrastinate on something to do this.

– Here’s the inspiration to this masterpiece: joyastleĀ  Ā (teeheee – I just realized that they didn’t bother to paint the TP rolls. Makes so much more sense. LOL)

So…did this come out of boredom or procrastination? How interesting. Do we all need some of those?

Sometimes the simplest things are the smartest things. I wouldn’t have thought to do that. And painting them is so much prettier!

Mine aren’t as fancy as yours. I did have a tall waste basket that wan’t needed for anything so I stood all my paper rolls up in that and shoved it in a closet. I bought a stacking storage unit with drawers for paper, cards and bows. Ta-da. Organized what was a godawful mess. Thanks for your post.
